SuperBowl XLVII
We were painting away, as “The Blackout” started. It lasted a whole 35 minutes. The shirt is from the batch printed @TheAve in Venice, CA last June.

Esalen, LA Artshow, and Starbucks, all get some billing in today’s entry.
The Debt Ceiling is much more fun than The Fiscal Cliff.
Way back when….(feat. Lady Nogrady)
Starbucks offers these plastic coffee travelers that you can insert your own art into. Here, @annwillmott has used an Adobe Illustrator program in 2008, to make a sheet of very similar colorsigns, that have been nicknamed ‘postage stamps’ because they all look similar, yet are all different. It was paired up with the Nicole Nogrady colorsign from 12/10/10 (shown here upside down).
A humble beginning to a clothing line!
Bogosse shirts, they are not. However, they are colorsign originals. The first is a copy of the Willmott Family Flag design, made into a banner, by Joy Willmott, of Novelty, Ohio, in July 2012. You will see the banner design shortly. The second was a collaboration of people at a conference at the Happy Valley Conference Center, in Santa Cruz, California over a 36 hour period from 12-29/30-2012. Each person picked a square and color.
Completed T-Shirt from Santa Cruz, CA 12/30/12
This shirt was done over a 36 hour period. About thirty people were involved. It was the first time I used ‘T-Juice by Jacquard’. It was a version of the fabric paint, but on a push marker.
Finally! from an IPad.
You have no idea how frustrating this has been. It has been partly (a lot of) my fault, as I didn’t get the password right. Maybe it’ll get better now.
